Proposed pre-course knowledge

• Statistics/ML corresponding to the NBIS Biostatistics/ML workshop
• Basic conda skills
• Basic python skills (possibly NBIS python workshop?)
• [maybe prepare a questionnaire to evaluate actual skills]
• (Completing [currently none-existing] pre-course material/quiz)

Additionally it is important to:

• have a Unix emulator (or similar) on your laptop so you can get a Unix terminal. [instructions?])
• have installed conda on your laptop (see, e.g., MiniConda)
• have installed git on your laptop (git) [for the internal course, only?]
