About us
The Advanced R programming for Bioinformatics workshop 2023 is organized by a group of bioinformatics data analysts and R enthusiasts working at the National Bioinformatics Infrastructure, Sweden – a platform of the Science for Life Laboratory. The event is organized in co-operation with Uppsala University, Lund University and Stockholm University.
Organizing committee
Marcin Kierczak — associate professor in bioinformatics and data analyst at the long-term support of the National Bioinformatics Infrastructure, Sweden with long experience in R programming and data analyses using statistical learning. In particular, he is working in the area of computational genetics. | |
Sebastian DiLorenzo — bioinformatics data analyst at the short/medium-term support platform of the National Bioinformatics Infrastructure, Sweden with long experience in R programming and data analyses. In particular, he is working in the area of cancer genomics. | |
Roy Francis — bioinformatics data analyst at the short/medium-term support platform of the National Bioinformatics Infrastructure, Sweden with long experience in R programming and data analyses. In particular, he is working in the area of single-cell RNAseq and RNAseq in general. | |
Jessica Lindvall — teaching co-ordinator at the National Bioinformatics Infrastructure, Sweden. | |
Björn Nystedt — co-director at the National Bioinformatics Infrastructure, Sweden and research area manager. Mainly interested in genomics and multi-omics data. |
