Organizers
The Advanced R programming for Bioinformatics summer school 2018 is organized by a group of bioinformatics data analysts and R enthusiasts working at the National Bioinformatics Infrastructure, Sweden – a platform of the Science for Life Laboratory. The event is organized in co-operation with the Uppsala University, Campus Gotland, and Stockholm University.

Organizing committee
Marcin Kierczak — bioinformatics data analyst at the long-term support of the National Bioinformatics Infrastructure, Sweden with long experience in R programming and data analyses using statistical learning. In particular, he is working in the area of computational genetics. | |
Sebastian DiLorenzo — bioinformatics data analyst at the short/medium-term support platform of the National Bioinformatics Infrastructure, Sweden with long experience in R programming and data analyses. In particular, he is working in the area of cancer genomics. | |
Thomas Källman — bioinformatics data analyst at the Natural History Museum (Naturhistoriska Riksmuseet) in Stockholm with long experience in R programming and data analyses using statistical learning. In particular, he is working in the area of RNAseq. | |
Jessica Lindvall — manager of the short/medium-term support platform and teaching co-ordinator at the National Bioinformatics Infrastructure, Sweden. | |
Björn Nystedt — manager of the long-term support platform of the National Bioinformatics Infrastructure, Sweden. Mainly interested in genomics and multi-omics data. |
