Objectives:

  • Create a draft Data Management Plan in SciLifeLab Data Stewardship Wizard for your own project
  • To identify gaps in your data management strategy
  • To simplify communication around your data management strategy with others

Create a Data Management Plan in SciLifeLab Data Stewardship Wizard

  1. Go to DS wizard and log in with your university credentials by clicking on the Life Science RI (university) button.
  2. Create a project and name it according to your research-project
  3. Select the template ‘Vetenskapsrådet DMP Template’
  4. Start with chapter II and III “Description of data”
  5. Work through the questionnaire and fill in the information you already have for your project, add ‘to do’s’ or comments for questions to come back to later.
  6. Invite collaborators to share the DMP with other members of your project.
  7. Export the DMP as a word file and modify manually if needed.
